Concentration formula Concentration (mg/mL) = Total peptide (mg) / Total water volume (mL) For a 10 mg vial: 10 mg / 2 mL = 5 mg/mL 10 mg / 3 mL = 3.33 mg/mL 10 mg / 4 mL = 2.5 mg/mL 10 mg / 5 mL = 2 mg/mL Dose volume formula Volume needed (mL) = Desired dose (mg) / Concentration (mg/mL) For 0.5 mg at 3.33 mg/mL: 0.5 / 3.33 = 0.15 mL Syringe units formula Units = Volume (mL) x 100 For 0.15 mL: 0.15 x 100 = 15 units Combined formula (all-in-one) Units = (Desired dose in mg / Concentration in mg/mL) x 100 This is the only formula you actually need
